Carlevana wine tasting tours

Carlevana Winery is located in the heart of Moldova, Merenii Noi village, at a distance of 25 km from Chisinau. Founded in 1959 – the winery had a spectacular and important course for the modern history of winemaking in our country. In 2003, for the first time in Moldova, we produced Ice Wine – bearing the name “Brumăriu”. A year later, we produced for the first time the wine obtained from grapes affected by Botrytis Cinerea under the name “Ambrosia Riesling”. And at the present time – the only producers of Port wines in the country, aged in oak barrels for 3 years. In 2021, we opened our own restaurant on the premises of the winery, and now we are also launching the tourist offer with tours and wine tastings. We invite you to get to know our history, technologies and the results of our winery’s work.

And at the moment we are the only producers of Port wines in the country, a wine matured for around 3 years in new oak barrels.
